Well I guess it is about time I give an update on thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Sorry it is soo long. We got to go to my parents house this year for Thanksgiving and had a blast. The boys were in heaven. My parents have chickens so they got to get eggs and feed them which they have never done before. There is also a big mound of dirt across from my parents house and you can just imagine how much fun they had sliding down and getting very dirty. Something about boys and dirt. They also had fun throwing rocks in a reservoir we couldn't get Nathan to leave he was loving it. My dad got them nice and tired running up the boat ramp a few times thanks dad. We took a picnic and found a great place to eat it the kids had a lot of fun and made lots of fun memories. Then we had some good Thanksgiving food as always thanks to mom. It drizzled off and on that day but that didn't stop the kids from playing a little football and soccer.
December was fun and crazy and went toooo fast. We got to do lots of fun stuff. We put up the tree as a family the boys are getting good at fluffing. We went for our annual Christmas lights trip to Alta Loma they are amazing and the kids love going and getting to go to Denny's after. Another thing we did was go to the candle light for Bryan's work party the kids get to go on stage and get something from Santa it was a cute play. We also got together for family night with Mom and Dad Dow and Keith and Brittany and Kurt and Kat and made gingerbread houses that was a lot of fun of course they didn't las too long my kids like to eat the candy to much to let it sit there and look nice. Well we also went to Honey's on Christmas Eve and the boys got to see cousins and it is always a fun time, thanks honey. Our little Devon (now big) was born six years ago on Christmas I can't believe how fast time flys. He is a joy to have in our family and is a very sweet boy. Grandma Booth brought over her famous cake that the boys love and Devon was loving he was soo hoping for a car cake with chocolate dounuts as the wheels that she made for Benjamin one year(amazing the memories they have about food) anyway when he came home from school there it was dougnuts and all. Needless to say he was very excited, so thank you Grandma Booth. We went to my parents house for New Years and there was a lot of snow. The kids had soo much fun the big mound of dirt was now a perfect place to go sledding we attempted to make a snow man and Dad found a good size hill to go sledding down we had a lot of fun visiting with some of the fam thanks for always making it fun for us when we visit we love you guys. For Christmas Honey took us all about 60 some family members to Arizona to ride on the Polar Express and to tour the Grand Canyon. It was fun getting to ride on a train for the first time and seeing the Grand Canyon it is beautiful and scary at the same time. Thank you Honey for a great time we love you. Well that sums it up short and sweet huh J/K. We had a lot of fun and it was hard to get back to reality.

Sounds like you guys had tons of fun. We miss going to the lights on Thoroughbread, we were going to go to a place up here, but that week before christmas, the snow was a little crazy, it made it hard to get around. It was fun though, I love the snow. How are all you guys??? We're loving it here, I especially am impressed with the people that live here. The kids in the new school are so friendly. It has a totally different feel than down there. It feels like when I was little. People just let their kids walk to school by themselves, it's strange. Everyone always has their window shades up all night long, so you can just see into people's houses, people feel so safe here, it's a very welcomed change after living in Fontana. Not that Fontana is the getto, but compared to here, it has a totally different feel. Here life is so much more laid back and slow paced. The kids only have 1 page of homework every night and they are not required to read every night, it's awesome. Anyways, I loved reading your blog, very cute pics and looks fun. I've always wanted to go to the Grand Canyon. Have a great day! Miss you!

Here, here!!! That picture of the boys at the lake is priceless! We love it, too bad if we tried something like that it would go up and then drop down fast. Not the nice cascade look that your boys have.
